Technical duties to include but are not limited to grossing of surgical dermatology specimens, embedding, microtomy, cryotomy, special stains, immunohistochemistry, maintenance of equipment and QA documentation. Qualified candidate should be motivated, able to multitask, detail oriented and able to produce high quality slides in fast-paced laboratory. Great attitude and a team player is a must.
* Bachelor's / Associate's degree or 60 college credit hours that quality for CLIA '88 requirement
* Certified HT/HTL (ASCP) preferred
* 5+ years Histology/Mohs experience preferred

Dawes Fretzin Dermatology Group proudly offers a variety of dermatologic treatments including medical and surgical management of diseases of the skin, hair and nails. We have four locations with nine physicians that are board certified in dermatology including a fellowship trained Mohs surgeon, three experienced physician assistants and one nurse practitioner. Our histology laboratory is staffed five days a week to cover routine histology specimens and Mohs surgeries.
