Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is currently seeking a Histologic Technician II. The selected individual will be responsible for preparing slides of tissue specimens to include H&E, special stains and enzyme histochemistry for microscopic evaluation by the Pathologist in compliance with section policies and procedures. He/She will assist Pathologists & Pathology Assistants, and function in a team environment to provide a high level of patient care and continuous process improvement.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma with HT(ASCP) or equivalent; or an Associate Degree in chemical or biological science with HT(ASCP) or eligible; or a Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical or biological science with HT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP).
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Histotechnician, HT (ASCP); or Histotechnologist, HTL(ASCP).
