Lab Tech Trainee
POSITION SUMMARY The goal of the Lab Tech Trainee program is to prepare staff for a future career as a Histology Tech or a Med Lab Scientist. This program requires a 2 year employment commitment after achievement of MLS certification. While in the program, this position assists the technical laboratory staff. Responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens, proper entry into the computer system, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and/or distribution of these specimens to the proper analytical area.
