DescriptionSummary:Performs daily duties for pathologists and histology technicians to include accessioning specimens, grossing procedures, cassette preparation and other computer related tasks. Obtain and process histology specimens and dispense critical information in accordance with section, laboratory and hospital procedures and policies.Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred; Must be able to operate laboratory equipment and computer system; Must have excellent telephone skills and be able to communicate effectively; Relevant experience is preferred.
