Position Summary
Processes, embeds, sections, stains, coverslips, and labels pathology specimens for the purpose of examination by staff pathologists. Maintains instruments, chemicals and work related records. Works under the general direction of the pathologists, the Histology Supervisor, and the Administrative Director, Laboratory.
Qualifications:Training and Experience
- One year experience in Pathology department preferred
- ASCP registered Histology Tech or equivalent training preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
