This position performs basic histological testing according to clearly prescribed procedures and laboratory techniques or developmental methods. This position receives general supervision of work activities from the department supervisor and does not supervise any other position.
Associate’s Degree in Histology or equivalent training per CLIA standards for high complexity testing (at least 60 semester hours from an accredited institution that includes at least 24 semester hours of science with laboratory education ( 6 hours chemistry, 6 hours biology, and the remaining hours in any combination of chemistry, biology or medical laboratory technology equaling 12 semester hours). (Required)
Pathology laboratory, hospital, or healthcare experience. (Preferred)
