Histotechnologist / Histology Technician
The Histotechnologist (Baccalaureate) is responsible for the independent performance of complex and specialized testing on anatomical tissue and body fluid specimens that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. This position's responsibilities include but are not limited to the demonstration of both practical knowledge and theoretical understanding of procedures in the pathology / histology areas; the recognition of deviations in expected results; the analysis of technical problems and the ability to make the necessary corrections to achiever quality results; and the capability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and equipment.
