Receives and accurately processes surgical or diagnostic tissue specimens form various hospital departments. Maintains Pathology laboratory equipment., work area and supplies. May be asked to Transcribes surgical pathology and cytology reports; interacts with customers and co-workers in a professional manner. Assists physicians in obtaining reports and prepares case consults for mailing.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Required: Six (6) months to less than 1 year.
