Histotechnician (Lab)
The Histotechnician is responsible for accession, gross and describe small surgical specimens, maintain automated tissue processors, process tissue, and perform all basic histologic functions to prepare slides for diagnosis by a pathologist. Job Relationships Reports to the Histology Manager Principal Responsibilities Assist the histology manager in solving problems including discrepancies in specimens, requisitions, demographic and billing information.
