We offer a competitive salary range of $25.20/hour - $36.00/hour, depending on your experience. This rate includes a 20% shift differential for working the night shift.

- Processing, embedding and cutting of tissue specimens
- Staining and cover-slipping of slides
- Performing special and immunohistochemical staining procedures
- Performing frozen section procedures
- Labeling, correlating, distributing and filing slides
- Performing and documenting quality control
- Reagent maintenance and cleaning of processors and stainers
For more than half a century Ketchum, Wood & Burgert Pathology Associates has been providing independent laboratory cytology and surgical pathology diagnostics to the medical community of the Florida panhandle. Founded in 1949, the group has grown to nine pathologists, who are licensed in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. The laboratory meets all federal and State of Florida licensure requirements and is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). Our technical staff works to ensure a rapid turnaround time and accurate results, which helps the physicians we assist in the care and treatment of their patients.
