Organization:HistopathologyJob Summary:Job Summary:Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking to hire a Histotechnologist (HTL) 2, whom report to the Diagnostic Labs Team Leaders, and whom will have responsibility for preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examinations, as well as handling the more specialized histo and immunocyto-chemistry testing within the Dept of Anatomic Pathology under occasional guidance. The HTL 2 maintains adequate quality control data, processes specimens for molecular testing, troubleshoots processes and follows up as needed, and is responsible for high volume workload, including stat requests.KEY RESPONSIBI
