Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Histology Technologist for the Atlantic Consolidated Laboratory in Morris Plains to work 3pm - 11pm including every other weekend.Responsibilities The Histotechnologist - Anatomic Pathology is responsible for performing all routine cutting and staining of surgical specimens, including IHC and special stains. Prepares tissues for microscopic diagnosis by a Pathologist utilizing a variety of manual, semi-automated and automated technologies. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of tissue through the pre-analytic to post-analytic phase in the Anatomic Pathology laboratory.
