SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This specialty area of Histology is responsible for Immunohistochemical testing, quality assurance, quality control, preventative maintenance, safety, continuing education, staffing, regulatory standards, inventory proficiency testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Associate degree in chemical, physical, biological science, medical laboratory science or equivalent education and five (5) years of clinical work experience in an accredited histopathology laboratory and HT/HTL/QIHC (ASCP) or equivalent certification within one (1) year of hire

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Bachelors Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, medical laboratory science or equivalent education
