OverviewWood River Dermatology Clinic is looking for a Mohs histotechnician who is energetic and detail oriented to complement our fast-paced Dermatology practice. The new hire must be a self-starter and be able to work independently but also as a team player. The Mohs procedure relies on a highly trained histotechnician to take malignant tissue samples and turn them into microscopic slides readable by the Mohs surgeon. Histotechnicians play a vital role for our Mohs surgical provider being able to deliver exceptional patient care in the most efficient manner and relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required. Previous experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
