Position Summary: Receives and accurately processes surgical, diagnostic tissue or body fluid specimens from various hospital departments Performs histological procedures for the Pathology Department by cutting, staining and mounting of tissue specimens to provide data on the nature of disease or cause of death. Exercises independent judgment and responsibility with minimum supervision by the respective supervisor, Pathologist, or Laboratory Director.
