This position serves as a HistoPathology Technologist in the Histology/Cytology Section of the Pathology and Laboratory Service; receives and processes surgical pathology and cytology specimens; embeds, cuts, stains and coverslips specimens; troubleshoots a variety of specialized lab protocols, identifying suboptimal tissues, and performing new or specialized stains for diagnostic review by the Pathologists. Work schedule is generally Monday through Friday.
